Recognizing the power of teamwork and appreciating the narrative power of sports requires recognizing and appreciating the way in which sports can tell stories and generate intense, emotional experiences for spectators and participants. Through our Sports Exchange Programs, we hope to promote cross-cultural and reciprocal understanding, respect for diversity, and collaboration between American and international athletes. By bringing together young people from various countries and cultures, we aim to broaden and deepen their understanding of U.S. society, culture, and history, dispel myths, and build a more unified and interconnected global community.
We believe that we can work towards a more just, equitable, and peaceful world by inspiring youth to become agents of change. We recognize that cultural differences should be celebrated as part of our global identity, and we believe that movement and sports can play a crucial role in removing barriers and cultivating mutual respect and communication.
Diversity, inclusion, and social transformation are integral to our work in sports and movement, particularly breaking and wushu, because they represent our company's fundamental values. As we prepare for the 2024 and 2026 Olympic Games, we recognize the need for more breaking and wushu camps, and our longstanding relationships with industry leaders enable us to offer unmatched access to both disciplines. Our friendship with hip hop and breaking pioneer Rennie Harris enables us to offer master classes and lectures to breakdance campers. Moreover, since 2002, our close ties with Hao Zhi Hua, an American and five-time Beijing Wushu Team champion residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, have enabled us to facilitate cultural exchanges in dance and wushu at the Beijing Wushu Team training center in China.
