Awards, Grants and Partnerships

ZiRu Dance continues to receive numerous awards and grants for their community programing, intercultural exchange and innovative dance works focused on mental health. Below are a few of our generous supporters.

CAC IMPACT AWARD

ZiRu Dance has been awarded the California Arts Council IMPACT Award for 2022 and 2023 for their work on VANTAGE and Pathways to Recovery.

Creative Work Fund

In partnership with One Life Counseling, ZiRu Dance was give the Creative Work Fund grant. The grant funded the creation of "Move and Release" free movement therapy classes for persons with PTSD post covid and the research and development of Pathways to Recovery.

SVCF- Arts & Culture Community Action Grant

The grant was awarded in 2023 to support the extention and development of "Move and Release" and Pathways to Recovery.

Fleishhaker Foundations

This grant was awarded in support of the further development and production of the Silicon Valley Dance Festival "Renewal".

Public Diplomacy Cultural Exchange Award

In partnership with the US State Department and the US Embassy in China, ZiRu Dance was given this award for their work in intercultural exchange through dance in 2013, 2014, 2020 and 2021.
